BIT BOB collar safely secures and protects your trolling motor transducer cable from breakage due to over tightening. Bit Bob collar’s quickly and easily fasten to your trolling motor shaft.
With BIT BOB collar when you fasten todays expensive high tech 1/4 inch diameter cable to the trolling motor shaft shaft you don’t worry about breaking or squishing the coax/fiber optic cable which leads to the cost of replacing a expensive transducer.
Over tightening a zip tie is the number one cause of cable breakage and transducer failure and the cost to replace them is expensive.
BIT BOB’s fasten to 1 5/16 inch diameter trolling motor shaft with keyway, typically Minn Kota shaft.
Two attachment options are available “snap on”and “tie on”.
Also BIT BOB’S are available for single slot for 1/4 inch diameter cable, two slot for 1/4 inch and 3/8inch diameter cable and wide slot for two 3/8 inch diameter cables. Two slot and wide slot collars are designed to secure cables for down and side scan transducers. Lowrance “Active Target”,Garmin “Live Scope” and other makes.
Snap on model quickly attaches detaches using our patent pending “double barrel/double cord system”. This model is perfect for the person who wants a setup that can be taken off easily to clean the trolling motor shaft and cable, great option for boats in salt water.
Tie on model attaches with a zip tie. This model is intended to be left attached to the trolling motor shaft.
Recommended spacing of 12 inches between collars
(2) collars per package.
Standard color is white. Custom colors available upon request.

At the slot on the clip where the transducer cable is routed and the clip material is at its thinnest. I found I almost broke the clip into 2 pieces but managed to not but almost.
